As a youngster, Mark Floyd, owner of Downtown Fitness, discovered that fitness can be fun. This discovery was his inspiration for opening his own fitness club years later. He recalls that “It began when I was about 15 years old. I was overweight as a child, and my buddies convinced me to join them in a workout. After about a week of lifting and doing some cardio, I was hooked!” As he continued to train, he saw visible results like weight loss and muscle gain.
